Good news! Production on camera bags is increasing! Yes you heard that right – there will be more.
Bad news – it’ll be a few weeks before they are ready. How many weeks you ask? Good question. Wish I had the answer. I’m estimating 4-6 weeks right now. And until they are ready, the shop will be closed.
Truth be told, this has been a slow, painful process. Up until now it’s been a never ending cycle of cut and sew production all emanating from my living room. Between that, 2 kids at home, a husband I like to hang out with and a house to maintain, nothing has been getting the attention it deserves. The mess I call home can attest to that. So taking the steps to outsource and increase production has been slow. But honestly, the pace was mostly due to fear. I’ve been playing this whole thing by ear, learning as I go and making mistakes along the way. Each step toward the big goal meant more questions, more decisions, more cost, more of the unknown… and it’s scary.
I made this poster, which has become my motivational speech to myself.
It’s a kick in the pants reminder to choke back the fear, keep putting one foot in front of the other and get it done. Whatever “it” may be.
Keep checking back for updates on when more bags will be available. I’ll be blogging more and keeping you updated with dates and camera bags and more.
There will be more.
