This month’s 10 on 10 was shot on Brock’s birthday.
Waking up to a room full of balloons
My first mammogram at the youthful age of 34, only to be told what I was experiencing was “normal breast pain”. Glad it was nothing.

The sunglasses and mustache are KILLING me!! I think he needs a portrait session with the ‘stache.
-
Happy Birthday Brock! Looks like you guys had an awesome day! I love your imagery, K. :)
-
incredible ketti.. your use of light never ceases to amaze me. :) perfect moments! xo
-
-
Always love seeing your point of view, Ketti…I love how there is a light hearted, almost comic feel to these, yet special nonetheless. :)
-
-
-
Love love love. Congratulations Ryan and Jackie on your beautiful new addition! This is what life with a new baby is like – and the love shines through these images.
-
Ketti – Those are such great pictures! They seem so relaxed for new parents, it’s amazing. Charlie is super cute and I love that he has all that hair!
-
-
-
oh, these take me right back to those first few days with a newborn! what a wonderful time to have documented! their joy just oozes through these images!
-
-
ADORE these shots! capturing such a precious time in such a real way
-
When you’re done with me, mozie (is that how it’s spelled?) on over to Kristin Young’s blog and see what she saw.

These are all shot with a Holga which is why they look so stellar.
And again, go check out the next in our little circle, Kristin Young!
-
-
i wish Id seen you. you and the Holga were always meant to be a pair. xo
-
Now I want a Holga, too. And I want to hang out with you. I love what you’ve created here. :)
-
-
I went down to Olympia to hang out with the expectant parents for a bit and poke around with my camera.
See that cradle there? That thing is near ancient and has been in our family, cradling almost all of our family’s newborns (13 cousins), since my older brother was born. We were in it, our kids were in it, and now Ryan’s will be as well.
Cannot wait for the little guy to make his debut. Good luck, guys! You’ll be the coolest parents.
-
ah, Ketti these are perfect!! I love the way you see things, so refreshing and real. Gorgeous couple too! I hope you are photographing their newborn session too! xoxo
-
I love this! The last four are my favorites, especially the ‘tree chair’ photo. I love the well loved cradle as well.
-
Lovely job, Ketti! I really like the ones of them together outside…she has such a beautiful smile!
-
Ryan reminds me of your grandpa Bob. You can definitely see the Tiedeman in him.
-
-
Oh My Goodness! I love these- THEY ARE AMAZING- Once again Ketti you have out done yourself! What a fun day, climbing on mud flats and falling down cliffs – all in the name of good photography. I love the candid ones that we did at the end with Ryan and I laughing on the trail, and the ones of us on the bed- ALL OF THEM ARE AMAZING: from us walking on the beach, to the tree, and those shots on the stairs! You do such an amazing job! WE LOVE YOU :)

-
LOVE the ones in the woods and the one on the bed brings back memories of waiting for our first :)
A few things I learned:
1. Tape the back closed. I had the back cover pop off and expose my film while I was taking the camera out of my bag.
2. Outdoors in the daylight is your friend. Or just get friendly with the bulb setting. Or, use a higher iso film. Duh.
These images are from my big-girl business trip to Vegas where I attended a trade show, looking for materials and fabrics for my line of camera bags.
The show turned out to be a pretty big bust for me. Not quite what I was expecting or looking for. I did get a great source book and came back with a new direction for the biz so all was not in vain.
Be sure to check out the photographs from Rebecca Conway | Lifestyle Photographer | Knoxville, TN next and travel through our little circle. You’ll end up right back here. And don’t be shy, if you see something you like, leave a comment and say so! We all love the feedback and knowing people are actually looking at our work.

Looks like a great trip! Did you find anything good at the tradeshow? Awesome layout as well!

-
The girl is looking at your photos with me. She says the note in the toilet is disgusting. I think it’s rather cool. :)
-
-
-
Really impressed this was all with your Holga! The note is awesome :) Did you make it or find it?
-
Love this view of your trip. I’ve never been to Vegas and would love to go someday. Beautiful imagery, Ketti!
-
Holga pool shot is my favorite. I LOVE the toilet. Vegas is a total blast. dig the first wide shot.
-
Love this little peek of Vegas, I’ve never been! Such a cool feel to these, so happy you experimented!
-
Love your eye! I always get excited when I see you have a new blog post :)
-
Ah, I’m so inspired! What fabulous storytelling!! I feel like we all went with you. All of the PNW girls really need to get together sometime soon! Maybe when the sun comes back? :)
-
dude. you + Holga are a masterpiece together. that toilet shot is kinda the best finale EVER.
I registered Brock for kindergarten, and it was partly sunny. Something to cheer about.
Now run off and check out Abbie McFarland | Lifestyle Film Photographer | Fort Worth, TX!

paper plate and bathtub are my absolute favorites. big milestones coming up in your family!

Love this family. The final shot just says it all.
Beautiful, Ketti! You really showcased their love :)
What a sweet family. I love the one of mom looking down at her new baby girl!
Wow! Your photography is “art” in its purest form. No posing, no pretending, and no worrying about the baby throwing up on your blouse before the photographer arrives ;) This is real life … a moment captured that can be treasured for years to come. I think it would be awesome if they have this done once a year for the rest of these kids’ lives to see how the family evolves. I’m telling everyone about your business. You’re a genius.
These are just amazing Ketti, love.
These are so tender and pure. Love them.
