Hello there! My name is Ketti Phillips and I am a light-hearted-with-a-heart photographer specializing in on-location lifestyle photography. I love photographing families in comfortable surroundings, whether it be at home or in the great outdoors where their true selves shine through.
Born in Canada and raised in southern California, I migrated north again a few years ago to the Pacific Northwest, settling in the Seattle area. As you can imagine, this was a definite change of climate and now I truly appreciate a sunny day.
I am married to a very creative video game designer, have two adorable, energetic little boys and one tiny bathroom. It’s a busy place, sometimes chaotic and always fun.
My background is a little varied in the arts. I studied graphic design for several years in art school, which is where I also started taking photography classes, and I have a bachelor’s degree in apparel design. After college I worked as a graphic designer and started my own line of handbags. A few years later I gravitated back to the camera and started making pictures. Merging my two passions, I am now creating stylish camera bags as well as photographing families.
My goal is to create an honest and real body of work for my clients, creating their story through photography. By capturing a glimpse of their lives with my pictures, I give them a family history treasure that will stand the test of time.
